There is never an idle moment with a thirteenth century building. Much work has been carried out over the past few years to keep it watertight, and to improve the facilities. The internal reordering is now complete. It has proved a great success. As we do not have a church room we have removed the pews from the north aisle, and made it an open area. This is now used for teas and coffees after the services, and for our now famous Capel Teas which are organised every other week throughout the summer. These raise considerable funds for the Friends, who have funded much of the restoration work that has been ongoing for a number of years.
During the winter we also hold winter warmer lunches on Thursdays. The area is also be used for the Tiny Tots service, Kids Club, and a host of other events that are ongoing.
